Tuna, pea, spring onion and cheddar rostis

If you struggle getting canned fish into your little one (I know I definitely do) then make sure you check out these delicious tuna rostis. Easy to make and a great way of getting some crucial nutrients and protein in, as well as some great nutrients from the peas, cheddar and spring onion.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 large white potatoes, peeled
  • 3-4 spring onions, peeled
  • 100g frozen peas
  • 1 tablespoon of dried or fresh dill
  • 160-200g drained tuna
  • 100g grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons plain white flour

How To Make It

  • Step 1.

    Grate 3-4 potatoes and squeeze out the juice.
  • Step 2.

    Add a few chopped spring onions, the peas, tuna, grated cheddar cheese, eggs and 2 tablespoons of white flour.
  • Step 3.

    Mix with your hands then shape into discs. Fry for 3-4 mins each side then serve.
