Chorizo, almond and brussel sprouts
This makes a delicious side dish on the big day, or any other day to be honest. It’s a lovely way of serving sprots and plays with so many different textures.
- 200g Brussel sprouts
- 60g almonds
- 2 chorizo sausages
How To Make It
Step 1.Simply chop the ends off, rinse then boil the sprouts for 3 minutes or so in boiling water.
Step 2.At the same time dry fry a handful of almonds in a pan.
Step 3.Dice some chorizo, take the almonds out and add the chorizo in to the pan.
Step 4.Drain the sprouts, add to the chorizo and cook for a few minutes.
Step 5.Add the almonds back in and you're done.

Consistently underrated and the butt of all jokes, sprouts are so good for you, especially in pregnancy. Packed full of vitamin C, fibre and folate they are an easy way of really upping your nutritional intake.
