Spaghetti Amatriciana

Here's a perfect family sharing dish for the weekend, spaghetti amatriciana, delicious and so easy to make.

  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4-6 slices of bacon
  • 1 courgette
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1x 400g can of chopped tomatoes
  • Approx 3-400g spaghetti
  • Parmesan for grating

How To Make It

  • Step 1.

    Dice up an onion and a few cloves of garlic
  • Step 2.

    Then dice up 4-6 slices of bacon, add to the pan along with a diced courgette, carrot and red pepper.
  • Step 3.

    Stir in the tomatoes and simmer. Meanwhile cook the spaghetti.
  • Step 4.

    When the spaghetti is cooked, add to the pan, mix then serve with parmesan. Serve in a big bowl and let everyone dig in. If you're serving for toddlers break the spaghetti in half, if for a baby puree the vegetables and bacon.
