Homemade Nachos

Ingredients

  • 8 wholegrain tortillas
  • 200g beef mince
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of tomato puree
  • 200g grated mozzarella
  • Fresh jalapenos
  • Fresh coriander

How To Make It

  • Step 1.

    Simply remove 8 tortillas from the pack and use a pizza cutter (or knife) to cut them into strips and then triangles. Spread out on a baking tray and dry bake for 6-8 minutes at 180, turning once. Remove and allow to cool.
  • Step 2.

    Whilst that’s happening, cook 200g of beef mince in a pan and then add the paprika, cumin, oregano and tomato puree.
  • Step 3.

    Place the tortilla chips in a baking dish and spoon the beef mince over. Top with 200g grated mozzarella and bake at 180 for around 10 minutes or until the cheese has properly melted.
  • Step 4.

    Remove, add either green or red jalapenos and top with fresh coriander. That’s it!
