  • 1 peeled pear
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 5cm piece of ginger
  • Three teaspoons of soy sauce
  • Three teaspoons of sesame oil
  • 400g minced beef
  • 360g white rice
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red pepper
  • 60g mange tout
  • Chopped spring onion and sesame seeds for garnish

How To Make It

  • Step 1.

    Whizz together a peeled pear, 2 cloves of garlic, a thumb of ginger, three teaspoons of soy sauce sauce and three of sesame oil. Mix it into 400g minced beef then set aside for 10 mins or so.
  • Step 2.

    Cook some white rice. Meanwhile dice and cook an onion, a red pepper and some mange tout. (Any veg works really).
  • Step 3.

    Then add the beef to the pan and cook for 7-10 minutes, add a splash if water if you need. Top with spring onion and sesame seeds. For adults add some sriracha.
